Four amazing summer days filled with architecture, creativity – and new friends. Utzon Center’s summer school is for children aged 9–14.
Do you love building, creating, being creative and letting your imagination run wild? And are you between 9 and 14 years old?
Then you should beg your parents for a spot at Utzon Center’s summer school: Summer Science.
At summer school, you will work like a real little architect as you draw, design, build and get creative. Plus, you will meet other kids, who share your interests.
Together with our skilled conveyors of architecture, we will open up the architect’s toolbox and use 3D printers, laser cutters and sustainable materials to create some seriously cool things.
We take inspiration from the world-famous Danish architect Jørn Utzon’s playful approach to architecture and design, as we dive into design processes, exercises and tasks. Because for us, architecture is fun. And don’t worry – there is plenty of time for breaks, where we relax and have fun together.
You don’t need to be a master designer with a black belt in 3D programs and drawing, when you start summer school. You just need to be curious, ready to experiment, work with the building materials of the future, have fun and use your imagination. And you should enjoy working with focus and immersion. The rest of our team of skilled architects and conveyors will teach you.
There is room for 12 children in each course. So hurry and get your parents to buy a ticket for the most fun week of the year. All about architecture.
