In the exhibition Afterlife, discover how existing buildings are given new life through transformation.

Through a selection of recent projects, the exhibition explores how architects adapt buildings to new purposes by building on what is already there. Architecture, cultural heritage and new needs come together in projects where past and future merge.

Among the projects featured is the transformation of Spritten in Aalborg, where the former distillery is being given new life as an art centre.

Afterlife offers an insight into one of the most relevant trends in contemporary architecture and shows how existing buildings can become the setting for new stories.
