Utzon Center presents the International Utzon100 Symposium with keynotes from Pritzker Prize laurate, architect Rafael Moneo and architect Lene Tranberg.
The symposium is made in collaboration with the School of Architecture at Aarhus and Aalborg University.
Celebrating Jørn Utzon's centenary, the International Utzon100 Symposium aims at bringing people of various backgrounds together for an inspiring, challenging and even alternative set of presentations where the personal take on Jørn Utzon's work is the driving force.
Along the three guiding notions, Built – Taught – Experienced, an international group of practicing architects as well as academics will discuss the fascinating work of the Danish architect from various different perspectives. Special consideration is hereby given on the value of Utzon's oeuvre for the development of contemporary architecture.
Following the Symposium, the new Utzon Archive will be presented online with new and never-before seen photos and documents from Jørn Utzons own personal archive. The Utzon Archive is a joint venture between Utzon Center and Aalborg University.
The Symposium will take place in the Obel Auditorium at Utzon Center.
All tickets include coffee, tea and water. Tickets prices are excl. handling fee.
