The location of the Utzon Center on the waterfront on the banks of the Limfjord makes it unique in the city. The position of the Center helps create an attractive and inspirational setting for any conference or event.

Individuals, companies and businesses can hire the Utzon Center. Aalborg already has a reputation as an excellent conference city, but the facilities and location of the Utzon Center bring something very special and exclusive to any event.

The Obel Auditorium

The Auditorium is located on the 1st floor, offering an unrivalled view of the Limfjord and the waterfront promenade. You have the option of organising auditorium-style events with room for 104 people on mobile rows of seats. Alternatively the chairs can be positioned to accommodate a total of 150 people. The Auditorium can also be set up with round tables seating 10 people, with room for a total of 80 - 120 people depending on the nature of the event.  Its flexible design makes the Obel Auditorium ideal for all sorts of events, whether academic, cultural or social. Technical equipment: projector, microphones and Wi-Fi. Blackout option.

Utzon Park Room

This space is located on the ground floor with a view of the Limfjord and Utzon Park. There is room for 20 people at one long table. The space is perfect for small-scale meetings and group work, and can also be used for other purposes. A projector is available. There is Wi-Fi.

The Atrium Courtyard

At the heart of the Utzon Center is the Atrium Courtyard, sheltered from the elements and with a view of the Limfjord and the city. Weather permitting, the courtyard is perfect for small-scale gatherings, exhibitions, performances or other events for up to 150 people. In the centre of the courtyard Jørn Utzon planted a crab-apple tree, which is covered in beautiful pink blossom in the summer.
