The whistleblower policy can be used, if you wish to report illegal or critical matters. The policy is intended for employees at Utzon Center and is managed by Advokatfirmaet HjulmandKaptain.
Utzon Center is a responsible organization with an open culture, where everyone is free to speak up, including when experiencing irregularities or illegalities. For employees, communication about such matters should primarily take place through the usual communication channels in the workplace. For example, employees can always contact their immediate manager or the director, if they experience irregularities or illegalities.
Utzon Center does not accept that an employee or any other person deliberately makes false reports. If a person knowingly submits a false report, it may have legal consequences. If the person is employed by Utzon Center, a deliberate false report may have employment-related consequences, including dismissal. Allegations against individuals that are both anonymous and unfounded will be filtered out by HjulmandKaptain and will not be processed by Utzon Center.
You can report, for example:
- Financial crime such as embezzlement, bribery, fraud, and forgery
- Providing false or misleading information to public authorities
- Breaches of workplace safety
- Environmental pollution
- Physical violence and sexual harassment
- Corruption
- Nepotism
- Cases where employees significantly misuse system access to obtain information about colleagues or others without a work-related need
- Irregularities related to accounting and auditing
The above list is only examples. Reports must be based on either knowledge or a reasonable suspicion. If you are in doubt whether your observation should be reported, you are encouraged to do so. All inquiries are answered and processed, as your report is valued. The whistleblower can choose to remain anonymous.
